Nokia are not launching touchscreen mobile phones

Simon Ainslie, the UK boss of Nokia, has stated clearly that they will not be launching a touchscreen mobile phone until they believe the technology is right.Whilst other major mobile phone manufacturers such as LG , Samsung and Sony Ericsson are bringing numerous touch-screen mobile phones to market Nokia will only launch their versions when they are confident that the technology will provide the user friendly experience that todays mobile phone user expects.

Lg obviously do not agree with Nokia because they are claiming that on the back of the success of their KF600 and KF600 mobile phones, they will soon be number four in the UK. This means that they would have overtaken Motorola, who today seem to be struggling to bring successful new products to market.
