T-Mobile in association with Sony Ericsson are to re-launch their mobile jukebox serv

T-Mobiles chose Sony Ericsson as their associate in this new service because they, Sony, are the most recognised brand for music and are synonomous with music on the move.All new pay as you go and pay monthly customers buying a mobile jukebox phone in July will receive 5 free music downloads of their choice.

 More and more mobile phones are being manufactured with MP3 players built into them. In 2006 64% of mobile phones purchased had MP3 players.

 Music is so important to the youth segment of the mobile phone market place. Because there is access on the internet to illegal downloads, the price that the youth of today are prepared to pay has to be affordable, T-Mobile believe that at £1.00p per download for a full length track they have got the price right.

 Research has shown that the main reasons why mobile phone users will pay for music downloads is that they an listen immediately, download anytime any place and they do no need to carry another portable device.
