The latest Nokia E71 has been receiving rave reviews. As more and more of the major mobile phone manufacurers such as Nokia and Samsung bring an evergrowing array of mobile smartphones to market, the competition and the selection of phones available is huge. The Nokia E71 looks and feels great and has the added benefit of a dimple effect on the battery which greatly increases the grip.Despite the full QWERTY keypad and the large display, the E71 is remarkably compact and fits neatly into the palm of your hand.
We believe that Nokia is trying hard to emulate achieving the pole position that they have for mobile phones by knocking Blackberry of the pole position that they hold for smartphones. The Nokia E71 is designed to appeal both to consumers and business people alike, it has everything that you could wish for in a smartphone, HSDPA, mobile email, a good camera, A-GPS with Maps, a great web-browsing experience and loads of great organisational tools.

The E71 is packed with all features, performs beautifully and is a dream to use.The one noticeable downside is the keys on the qwerty keypad are rather small.
One great big plus for the Nokia E71 is that with so many features to use it comes with a great battery life. If you want to read a full review and see the full specification of the Nokia E71 go to http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/July2008/Nokia_E71_Review.htm as always this 3G website gives you full details and specifications of the Nokia E71, building on the launch 2 years ago of the Nokia E61, here are some of its excellent features that Nokia hope will knock Blackberry of that number one spot.
There is a very nifty switch mode feature that lets you switch the mobile phones homescreen from business view to consumer view againing proving what Nokia are trying to achieve with the launch of the E71 As far as looks, features and ease of use this phone definitely scores ten out of ten. Setting up mobile e-mail could not be easier all you need is your e-mail address and a password, unlike Blackberry your e-mails are not pushed to your E71 you have to access your e-mail account. To access your business e-mail account you need your work e-mail address, password, exchange server details and your access point.
If you want to check documents on the move the Nokia E71 has the ability to view attachments and because of the large screen viewing is great
The built in navigation uses A-GPS which gives you a spot on fix of your exact location, again this is a tremendous feature for business and consumers, targeting these two groups of uses is key throughout the design and specification of the Nokia E71. The maps are pre-loaded and once your current position is logged on, finding places of interest or planning journeys is easy, if you want live traffic information on your mobile phone there is a small licence fee. If you are outside the UK you can download city guides again for a small fee.
The camera in the E71 is a 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and automatic flash, as well as a camcorder that shoots VGA video at 22fps
Music on the move with your mobile phone is catered for by the multi format player that has good storage capacity via the micro sd card that comes preloaded with access to the Nokia music store. As you would expect it comes with an fm radio.
Browsing the web is great because of the HSDPA data speeds and once again not forgetting those consumers the Nokia E71 comes with a pre-loaded driving game
got this phone when it was released in the uk around a month ago. Camera is not great and there is no blackberry connect. The keys are quite small but once you have spent a month on it, you can type faster than ever. I had an e61 before and this really does look like a prehistoric slab compared to this thing. The E71 is stunning and the build quality is excellent
