Virgin mobile has claimed top spot for sim only mobile phone deals

In April this year Virgin Mobile launched their latest sim only mobile phone offering into the mobile phone market place, 3 months later they are claiming that they hold virtually 30% of this growing market with a 10% leap in market share in May alone. With access to millions of households through their other Virgin products they have marketed the sim only deal directly to their customer base. The words free and freedom feature strongly throughout all of their advertising.

With today’s difficult and uncertain times, more and more people are not prepared to commit to a mobile phone contract deal for an 18 month or longer period. Virgin mobiles media people have come up with a great name Liberty because as the man said “it does what it says on the tin” customers have all the benefits and value of voice and text packages without being tied to a lengthy mobile phone contract, you can cancel your Liberty sim or change your bundle of mobile phone voice calls or text messages with a simple phone call.

There are six great value for money monthly tariffs ranging from £15 upto £30 and you can choose between tariffs that are best for voice calls or tariffs that are best for text messages. Itemised billing is free as is voicemail in the UK.

If you already have a mobile phone and do not want a mobile phone contract take Virgin’s advice “if you love your phone set it free”
