Vodafone launches new Mobile Broadband services

From February 4, 2008 Vodafone UK is making their Mobile Broadband offerings even more appealing to consumer and business users alike. By introducing an improved mobile broadband offering, reducing the access charge and giving far faster speeds Vodafone are confident that they will attract many more users both consumer and business to their Mobile Broadband services. The introduction of their easy to install USB modem has also added great appeal�to the proposition.

New consumer price plans are now available at only £15 per month including vat giving 3GB at speeds upto 7.2 Mps per second and do not forget Vodafone’s Mobile Broadband coverage now reaches 80% of the UK population. This tarriff is ideal for somebody that is accessing the internet or using their laptop most days of the week. If you are travelling outside of the UK and you want to access the internet using Vodafones new services, you can do so by using their Assurance abroad offering which can be accessed for only £9.99 per day (24 hours) If you are an occasional internet user, you will be pleased to know that Vodafone are going to introduce a 30 day plan which will not be tied to a contract, this will cost £20 per month ‘Since we launched our high-quality Mobile Broadband in the UK in July we’ve been leading the way in download speeds and now we’re determined to broaden its appeal even further says Nick Read CEO of Vodafone UK. ‘Clearly the market potential for consumer Mobile Broadband is great and we are excited to be introducing the new plans that will meet the demands of all our customers.’With the launch of their new Mobile Broadband services Vodafone has also introduced a new flat rate charge of £15 per 1 GB for out-of-bundle data downloads. This new price will give users far greater certainty and great value for money.

Vodafone’s business customers have not been left out with the good news their 3GB of usage has been increased to 5GB and the new USB modem stick and Pebble are available free of charge on either an 18 month or 24 month contract. Vodafone are boosting the value for money of their business contracts by giving 6 months free line rental (worth £150) on a 24 month contract and 3 months free (worth £75) on a 18 month contract.
